HERSKIND
Birgitte Herskind has spent years in fashion. Her daughter Andrea has grown up watching. In 2018, in Copenhagen, they decide to do it together — and what comes out is a label that feels like it was made by two women who have very clear opinions about how clothes should fit. The DNA is tailoring: blazers, coats, skirts and trousers in cream, greige, mushroom, stone and black, cut to complement rather than complicate. Four collections a year, plus a permanent tailor programme that runs year-round, because some things shouldn't wait for a season. Strong, sexy, and confident, the brand says. In Copenhagen, that is just called getting dressed properly.
