Michaël Azoulay is twenty-three years old, living in Marseille, and obsessed with a single idea: the perfect T-shirt. Not a logo, not a statement — just the right fabric, the right weight, the right colour, the kind of thing you reach for every morning without thinking. He launches American Vintage in 2005 with that alone. Twenty years later, the brand has grown into full collections for women, men and children, still built around the same obsession — natural fibres, considered colours, clothes that feel better every time you wash them. French in spirit, Californian in ease, and somehow both at once.
